POWTECH 2011

/// The product range presented by IKA showed technique and design at the highest stage

POWTECH 2011

POWTECH is the international forum for the latest developments in the Mechanical Processing Technologies and Europe’s top get-together for process technicians, process engineers, production managers and scientists.

The event focuses on processes for conveying, size reduction, milling, screening, mixing or for granulating powders or bulk solids which are required for the production of chemicals and plastics as well as the areas of food and pharmaceuticals - to name just a few examples: pharmaceuticals, detergents, body care articles, cosmetics, plant protection agents, fertilizers or pesticides. But POWTECH also shows technologies for the ceramic, building material, plastic and food industries as well as solutions for explosion protection.

For IKA Process, this exhibition was an important platform for showcasing different innovations and sharing experiences in process solutions. It was a real good opportunity for social meetings with key customers.

This year, the focus was on the MHD system 2000/5, MP 100 and the Conical Dryer CD 100. But the main highlight was our unique and multi-functional small-scale laboratory machine – the magic LAB®. Mr. Peter Wanninger, IKA Process Managing Director, was really satisfied with the results of the trade show. He also mentioned that the arisen contacts were very interesting and promising.
